In recent months A. J. Batt has become involved with the Malawi Project and it did not take long for him to see to design a new invention for planting that would not require the up and down movements of the current method. 

The block making machine, for use first in the construction of a protective wall around the distribution center, then clinic construction, and after that other projects that will help make Action for Progress less dependent on outside aid, has been paid for. It is now on its way to Malawi.
