British Medical Team Arrives in Senga Bay
Salima, Malawi … During the past year the Malawi Project has sent a sizeable amount of medical supplies to assist Samatha Ludick, owner of the Cool Runnings resort. Near the entrance to this resort in Senga Bay Ludick runs the Clinic at the Gate medical first aid treatment center. The name aptly fits the facility since at the present time the Clinic at the Gate is exactly what the name implies; the village people in the surrounding area know they can come to the gate at Cool Runnings and receive first aid treatment for a large number of ills and accidents.
Medical Care in the Fishing Villages
There is nothing worse than to have a medical team come to help in healthcare only to find they have no supplies. This was not the case recently when to Malawi to give medical care and found themselves assisting Ludick with medical care for the people in the fishing villages situated near the small, quaint resort. With the students came the need for a sizeable amount of medical supplies. Ludick was able to report an ample supply of medical items because of a recent shipment of medicines and supplies from the Malawi Project in America.
The Malawi Project is pleased to be able to give supplies for mission teams like the one from Great Britian who worked at the mobil clinic in Senga Bay.
